JOINT PROJECT WITH LEITAT

Human S100A12 Quantitative ELISA

Matrix Biotek and Leitat are working on a joint R&D&I project focused on Human S100A12, a pro-inflammatory calcium-binding protein investigated as a biomarker in inflammatory conditions.

The project is evaluating a quantitative ELISA format for research measurement of Human S100A12 in serum, with the potential to contribute to a future research-use product.

CandidaHunter® — Nanotechnology Blood Culture for Candidemia

An EU Horizon 2020 Phase 1 project exploring a nanotechnology-based blood culture medium for research into detection of invasive Candida in the bloodstream (Grant ID 877651).

The programme investigated the combination of nanotechnology and microbiology as a route toward improved research tools for invasive fungal infections.

Long-COVID Screening Pathway

A research concept combining CoronaHunter® quantitative immunoglobulin measurements with selected vascular and inflammatory biomarkers in studies of persistent post-COVID-19 symptoms.

The programme explores whether combined biomarker panels may support the development of future research products for investigating post-COVID immune responses.
